Elkford and area residents are advised that due to unexpected limited staffing availability at the Elkford Health Centre, outpatient lab (including blood draws) and medical imaging (x-ray) services will not be available on Friday, Jan. 17.

Normal lab and medical imaging services in Elkford are expected to resume on Monday, Jan. 20.

Alternate outpatient lab and medical imaging services are available at:

• Sparwood Health Centre (8:30 a.m. -3 p.m.)
• Elk Valley Hospital in Fernie (7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
