Fernie seeks members for Regional Accessibility Committee
The City of Fernie and Districts of Elkford and Sparwood are collaborating to form a Regional Accessibility Committee, to help identify and remove physical and social barriers within our organizations and communities.
The committee will work together with staff and elected leaders to develop accessibility plans, provide a forum for discussion of accessibility-related issues and to raise awareness about accessibility in Fernie, Elkford and Sparwood.
If you are interested in helping to improve accessibility in your community, we would love your help and insights!
If you are interested in representing Fernie on the Regional Accessibility Committee, view the Terms of Reference on the city’s website and submit an application to [email protected] by August 31.
