14th Banner Launch June 7
Spring has sprung and the banners are hung!
The 14th annual Banner Launch will be this Thursday, June 7 at 7 p.m. at The Arts Station theatre.
This year artists entered dozens and dozens of different pieces making it very difficult for our team of adjudicators to narrow it down to just 40.
The Banner Project highlights the diversity of the artistic community of the Elk Valley and brings Fernie’s downtown to life, celebrating the imagery and identity of the city.
Come and see the final 40 this Thursday, June 7 and then for the rest of the weekend, before being hung along in downtown Fernie.
During this time, the choice to sponsor a banner will available for $100. After being on display for one year on Victoria Avenue then another year lining the highway, the banners are distributed to their sponsors. The high-quality vinyl is fade & weather resistant and will look beautiful for years to come. These fine-art banners look wonderful displayed in a garden or poolside, or even indoors.
