The Fernie Chamber of Commerce invites chamber members to Candi-Dating, an informal and engaging opportunity to connect directly with candidates ahead of the upcoming municipal election on Sept. 29 at Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 26.

Created specifically for Fernie’s business community, this chamber member-only event gives local business owners and members the chance to meet candidates face-to-face, ask questions, share what matters to them, and learn more about each candidate’s priorities in a relaxed, conversational setting.

Each candidate will have a designated table, and Chamber members can move throughout the room, choosing which candidates they would like to connect with.

Conversations will be kept short and focused, giving members the opportunity to speak with as many candidates as possible throughout the evening.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Fernie Legion.
