City seeking input through Citizen Satisfaction Survey

The City of Fernie is asking residents to share their insights and opinions into city services and standards.

Starting this week, residents can expect to see the City of Fernie’s 2023 Citizen Satisfaction Survey in their mailboxes. Letters containing a unique pin and instructions are being distributed through Canada Post starting November 21.

The Citizen Satisfaction Survey will be open through December 10, 2023, with final results delivered to Council in January at the start of the budget process.

The survey results will be presented to council to help shape important decisions and long-term planning and to measure progress on advancing key council priorities.

“The 2023 Citizen Satisfaction Survey allows our community members to voice their opinions and share what matters to them with council. Information gathered from the survey is critical to shaping priorities and advancing community issues,” said Mayor Nic Milligan.

“Council values the voice of our community and encourages residents to participate to have your say.”

Each household will receive instructions and one unique pin code to access an online survey, and how to access an additional pin code if more than one household member would like to participate.

The Fernie Heritage Library is generously providing assistance for those needing help accessing and completing the survey and anyone who completes the survey with their unique pin will be entered to win one of three $100 local gift cards for use at local businesses!
