Connecting at Banter, Business & Beer

As a member of the business community since 1902, the Fernie Chamber of Commerce is committed to being a leading business organization in Fernie. It works on behalf of its members to advance and strengthen commerce in Fernie.

To connect with business members, each month, the chamber arranges great sessions like Banter, Business, & Beer. Every session is hosted by a different chamber member, First Choice Realty hosted October’s Session (pictured).

First Choice Realty, is a new Fernie business owned by Jolanda Redeker. This first-class real estate brokerage has just celebrated its Fernie office one-year anniversary. To learn more about Redeker and her services visit www.1stchoicerealty.ca. Members like First Choice Realty are what make the chamber tick, their passion and support allow us to connect with the Fernie business community and their needs. Thereby allowing Fernie businesses and the chamber to come together as one voice when advocating for change.

Chamber monthly events, like Banter, Business, and Beers are just one way the chamber connects with members to understand the local business needs. Events are well attended by membership, showcase a local business, and build community connections.

Patty Vadnais, executive director Fernie Chamber of Commerce says “one of our members put it best when asked why they like the Banter, Business, and Beers – it gives you a chance to talk business in a social setting.”

Members are invited to the next event on November 16 at Urban Settler. Visit www.ferniechamber.com for more details.
