Fernie Appoints Chief Election Officer
The City of Fernie has again appointed Kevin Allan as Chief Election Officer for the 2022 Municipal Election.
Mr. Allan comes to the position with a depth of experience and has provided the service to the city in each of the 2014 and 2018 municipal elections.
Mr. Allan’s takes on the role effective July 7 and will have an office within City Hall to support the election commencing August 2.
Along with this appointment council for the City of Fernie appointed Director of Corporate Administration Service Jeff McConnell, and Deputy Clerk Meredith Daniel, as Deputy Chief Election Officers.
Municipal elections take place October 15.
