Wondering what to do with your Christmas Tree?

Bring it to the Fernie on Fire fundraiser and tree burning event on Saturday, January 4.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m. you can bring your tree to add to the bonfire that will be lit by the Outdoor Rink next to the Fernie Aquatic Centre.

Fernie Fire Rescue will also be picking trees up curbside January 4 beginning at 8 a.m. (please don’t leave your tree on the curb before then) or you can drop your tree off on the trailer outside the Operations Facility Yards between December 30 and Jan 3.

There will be music, great raffle prizes, a barbecue and beverages. All proceeds will go to local charities.
