Griz Days Pins are now available
Just like the various meteorological groundhogs doing their thing every Feb. 2, the annual release of the Griz Days Pins is a sign that winter is in the back stretch.
And all hail the back stretch of winter as Griz Days is coming and Griz Pins are now on sale!
City of Fernie Mayor Nic Milligan (left) was lucky to get his hands on the first pin from this year’s Griz Pins fundraiser.
Each year the Fernie Chamber of Commerce partners with the Fernie Rotary Club to sell commemorative Griz Pins.
Pins are just $3 and a portion of proceeds go to supporting local community groups or charities plus you could win $1,000 cash.
And remember, the more pins you buy, the better chance you have at winning $1,000.
