Some highlights of activities and events taking place at the Fernie Heritage Library through the month of June.

Movers and Shakers (ages five and six; NO younger siblings please.)

Tuesday, June 12 from 4-5 p.m. MUST attend with caregiver.

A special storytime and activity based on Mo Willems book series.

An Evening Interlude: Black Tie Gala: Saturday, June 23 at 6 p.m.

Step into Downton Abbey for a spectacular evening of dining, music, live and silent auction and literary entertainment at this bi-annual library fundraising gala. Limited tickets on sale at the library.

ALL AGES

Ukulele GARDEN Jam 

Thursday, June 7 from 6:30 -7:30 p.m.  All uke players or enthusiasts invited to join the jam! If you have participated in our UKE 101 workshop or just want to play with a uke group-join the jam. BYO ukulele or contact Library to borrow one. Song sheets available on library website.

Lemonade Social  

Wednesday, June 13 from 4-6 p.m.  Come celebrate the end of our afterschool programming for the school year. The social includes lemonade games, music, snacks and lots of lemonade!. PLEASE Register to host a lemonade stand: see Eventbrite (Lemonade Stand-Off 2018)

Aboriginal Day Celebration  

Thursday, June 21 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Come celebrate Aboriginal Day with outdoor storytelling by a Metis elder followed by a potluck lunch. Please bring an potluck item to share: all are welcome!
