Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting is hosting a ‘Shift into Winter’ public outreach event with the Fernie Ghostriders this Friday, October 12 at the Fernie Memorial Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Pick up some winter driving safety tips from Mainroad’s Shift into Winter information booth that will be on hand during the Ghostriders’ Kootenay International Junior Hockey League game against the Revelstoke Grizzlies.

Learn about plow truck safety from Mainroad’s Operations team; and Kal Tire Sparwood will be onsite to help Ghostrider fans get winter tire ready with a chance to win a $500 Kal Tire gift certificate.
