The City of Fernie and Fernie Alpine Resort were alive with the sights and sounds of the Griz March 1 to 4.

With every second person wearing plaid, in concert with this year’s theme, and thanks to a whopping fresh dump of snow Friday evening, Fernie was a fun-loving winter wonderland Saturday, March 3 when e-KNOW visited for a shoot.

This year’s top three parade floats…

1st place: FIRE Fernie Adaptive Snow Program
2nd place: Elk Valley Dolphins Swim Club
3rd place: Fernie Brewing Co.
