Police investigating suspicious death
Elk Valley RCMP is investigating a suspicious death case in Fernie.
On December 5, shortly before 5:30 p.m., Elk Valley RCMP attended a residence located in the 1100 block of 2nd Avenue.
Upon attendance, police located a deceased person and determined the death to be suspicious.
The scene has been secured pending the arrival of the Southeast District Major Crime Unit.
No further information is available at this time. More details will be released when available, Elk Valley RCMP reported.
