Portion of trail temporarily closed
Access to a portion of the City of Fernie’s Main Town Loop / Kootenay Elk Trail from Ridgemont Avenue adjacent to the skate park and heading north along the BC Hydro Substation will be closed for construction of water and sewer lines for the substation starting July 3.
The city says construction is anticipated to take two to three weeks to complete.
The area closed is circled in red in the map above.
