RMI funding applications being accepted
The City of Fernie is now accepting applications, on a rolling-intake for 2020, for funding within the project areas identified in the 2019 – 2021 Resort Development Strategy (RDS).
The RDS is a three-year strategy developed by the City of Fernie and the local tourism industry that is funded primarily by the B.C. government’s Resort Municipality Initiative program (RMI).
The RMI is intended to support small, tourism-based municipalities to build and diversify their tourism infrastructure, deliver exceptional visitor experiences, and incorporate exceptional tourism practices and products.
