…About Fernie Alpine Resort (FAR)

FAR was named the top ski resort in North America at the World Snow Awards in London. Other ski resorts in the running were Whistler, Banff, Vail, Aspen and Telluride. Tough competition and our own Fernie Alpine Resort came out on top!

The prestigious award is chosen by the top executives and ski journalists in the world. The award is considered one of the top awards any ski resort can achieve on the globe. Always good to recognize just how good we have in our beautiful region.

FAR management gives the credit for this amazing recognition to the snow in Fernie, to the resorts excellent staff and also to the unique, friendly town of Fernie. Well done FAR. Well done Fernie!
