Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting this afternoon issued an advisory to local motorists and stakeholders about a minor traffic disruption on Highway 3, 5.1 km east of Fernie on Thursday, April 28.

Culvert maintenance work will occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

A detour will be available adding up to five minutes additional travel time.

Mainroad asks motorists to please drive with caution, obey signage and traffic control personnel and please slow down, show respect for roadside crews.
