Sparwood Fire Department holding open house
The Sparwood Fire Department is holding an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The open house is being held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week and district residents are invited to bring their families to take part in the celebrations.
A host of fun activities are on the schedule, including aerial lifts, fire truck rides, a fire-fit challenge, a Jaws of Life demonstration, a smoke detector battery exchange and more, along with door prizes.
The main firehall is located at 479 Pine Avenue.
