The District of Sparwood is pleased to announce the promotion of Darrell Kaisner to the role of the Director of Operations, effective immediately. This role has currently been left vacant as Tyler Madsen, former Director of Operations and Development has recently taken on a new position as Chief Administrative Officer with the District of Elkford.

Darrell has been with the District of Sparwood since 2007, taking on various leadership roles within the Public Works Department, including Roads and Parks Foreman and most recently the Deputy Director of Operations.

“We are really excited to have Darrell move into this role,” said David Wilks, Sparwood Mayor. “He has been with the district for over twelve years and has grown substantially with each role he has taken on. He has a strong knowledge of the Public Works Department and the community, so it was a natural fit.”

Sparwood Mayor and council would like to extend a thank-you to Tyler Madsen for his contribution to the municipality and warmly welcome Darrell into his new role.
