Assault near Mark Creek being investigated
On May 22, at 7:16 p.m., Kimberley RCMP responded to an assault on a female near Mark Creek across from the Mine Tour yard on Gerry Sorenson Way in Kimberley.
The victim female was struck from behind by an unknown object and then the male suspect fled the area up the hill towards the ski hill.
The suspect is described as six feet tall, light skin, dark hair and a moustache wearing red/ orange bike shirt and padded shorts.
Kimberley RCMP is asking if anyone with video surveillance in the area to check to see if they have any images / video of the possible suspect.
