City hosting dual open house for major community projects
The City of Kimberley is inviting residents to a unique opportunity to learn about two significant initiatives shaping the future of our community.
On October 15, city staff will host a joint Open House at Centennial Hall, showcasing updates on both the Wastewater Treatment Plant Project and the Ice Facilities Strategy.
Where: Centennial Hall (Centennial Centre), 100 4th Avenue.
When: Wednesday, October 15.
Times: 1:30– 4 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m.
This drop-in event will provide residents with a chance to:
- Review proposed changes to the Wastewater Treatment Plant and understand how they support environmental sustainability and infrastructure resilience.
- Explore the Ice Facilities Strategy, which aims to guide future investments in recreational ice infrastructure to meet community needs.
- Ask questions, share feedback, and engage directly with city staff and project teams.
“We’re excited to offer this combined open house format,” said Nik Morissette, Senior Manager of Operations. “It’s a great way for residents to get informed and involved in two important projects that impact both our environment and our recreational spaces.”
More information about both projects is available at www.EngageKimberley.ca.
