Fourth Avenue rehab project to begin

Asphalt milling to remove the uphill lane from the bottom hairpin corner on Kimberley’s Fourth Avenue to Creston Street, and both lanes between Trail Street and Creston Street is planned to start on Wednesday, April 24.

Milling is anticipated to take one to two days, the underground utility work will follow later in the week. Temporary streetlights will be installed prior to utility work starting and will be single lane alternating traffic.

The underground utility portion of the project is expected to continue into August.

The City of Kimberley apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation in following the traffic changes throughout the construction and ensuring a safe working environment for our crews.
