After a brief delay, Kimberley Alpine Resort is opening for the 2021/2022 season today, Friday, Dec. 17.

“We are very excited to announce that, thanks to the 56 cm of snow that has fallen on the mountain in the last few days and to our awesome snowmaking team, we will be opening this Friday,” the resort declared Dec. 13.

The Northstar Quad Chair, Easter Chair, and Magic Carpet will open, with the Tamarack Chair and Owl T-Bar soon after. Multiple runs will be available on the frontside and from the Easter Chair.
