Kimberley Ambassador Program event June 2

The Kimberley and District Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the College of the Rockies and Imagine Kootenay in the Ambassador Program June 2 at the Trickle Creek Lodge in Kimberley.

The program gives participants the opportunity to learn about the multifaceted activities, events and attractions available to Kimberley’s visitors and local residents to increase Kimberley’s ambassadors. Businesses and organizations will present information about Kimberley’s summer events and activities including rafting, fishing, golfing, hiking, trail information, wildlife awareness, and festivals as well as indoor activities.

In addition to becoming ambassadors, this is a great opportunity for residents to also learn about how to be a guest in their own town and try out some of what is offered. The chamber encourages staff and management of the business community that interact with visitors, along with the general public to learn summer activities from this engaging, enthusiastic panel.

This one-day event will be from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. in the Purcell and Selkirk meeting rooms at the Trickle Creek Lodge.

Register by May 31 with the Kimberley Chamber at (250) 427-3666, or via e-mail at: [email protected]. The cost is $25 and includes and door prizes.
