Maddisun brings Home to Kimberley Nov. 30
Join Cranbrook’s Maddisun on November 30 as she brings her “Home” tour to the heart of the Kootenays at Centre 64 on Kimberley.
This special evening will be a celebration of music, community, and connection, with Maddisun showcasing her signature blend of indie-folk, Americana, classic rock, and electro-pop.
Known for her confessional, 1970s-style songwriting, Maddisun’s deeply personal songs explore heartbreak, resilience, and growth, resonating across generations. Fresh off her performances in Nashville, and showcasing at the official Folk Music Ontario conference, Maddisun is ready to deliver her best performance yet.
Half Spent will open the evening with their unique, energetic sound. Consisting of members Dawson Rutledge, Julian Bueckert, Dallas Moore, and Angus Liedtke, Half Spent has been sonically bombarding audiences since 2017.
With influences ranging from The Dirty Nil to The Smashing Pumpkins, their mix of washing melodies and fuzzed-out rock will transport you into a ’90s and early ’00s-inspired sound fortress.
Having performed across North America, the band is proud to call the East Kootenay home, boasting five Kootenay Music Awards collectively.
