The City of Kimberley is inviting the public and media to attend a Wildfire Management Open House on Tuesday, November 26 at 6 p.m. at Centennial Hall.

The open house is a great opportunity to learn about all of the ways the city, the province, and industry is collaborating to reduce the wildfire threat in our community.

Attendees include the City of Kimberley Fire Department and officials, the BC Wildfire Service, Provincial Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, and several technical specialists.

Wildfire management areas to be discussed include the Kimberley Nordic Centre, Kimberley Nature Park, Levirs Ave, Forest Crowne Estates, lower Matthew Creek, and others.
