Wildfire west of Kimberley extinguished
BC Wildfire Service firefighters have extinguished a small fire in the Mark Creek area west of Kimberley.
The lightning-caused fire began on August 2 and did not grow larger than 0.5-hectares.
We wish to thank BC Wildfire Service firefighters for their quick action and hard work.
The City of Kimberley Emergency Operations Centre has been de-activated.
