Preliminary List of Nominees – 2026 ʔaq̓am General Election
Following the Nomination Meeting held on Wednesday, October 14, the following individuals have been nominated for the two Councillor positions on the ʔaq̓am Council, subject to verification of candidate eligibility in accordance with the ʔaq̓am Custom Election Regulations (Revised 2024).
Preliminary List of Nominees: Lindsey Whitehead; Dallas Cardinal-Clement.
Number of Declined nominations: one.
The Chief Electoral Officer is currently confirming candidate eligibility. The official list of candidates will be announced once the verification process has been completed.
