Making life brighter under the sun for hospital
After a long and snowy winter sometimes all you need is a bit of sun to brighten your day. That saying literally became reality when Shannon Hood of Sun Life Financial dropped by the hospital to make a donation of $2,000 for the Golden & District Hospital.
The gift is being allocated to the hospital’s general purpose fund and will be stewarded by the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH).
“We would sincerely like to publicly thank Shannon and the team at Sun Life for their generosity. By supporting the general purpose fund, it allows the care team to direct funds to the areas of greatest need at our hospital, and any size of donation can have an incredible impact on equipment large or small needed in our facility,” said Erica Phillips, Interior Health’s Acute Health Services Administrator East Kootenay.
