On Saturday Sept. 26, Northstar Rails-to-Trails Society Directors served cake and refreshments to trail users as part of the trail Appreciation Day event.

Cake was served at Kimberley’s Knighton Road crossing in the morning and then the event moved the Cranbrook trailhead parking lot at noon. An estimated 75 people attended. The trail was opened to users the fall of 2010, five years ago. For more information like us on Facebook, or check out our website.
