Riders from the three Western Canadian provinces participated in the first Water Ski and Wakeboard Alberta (WSWA) Wake Tour Stop of the 2015 season, and three Cranbrook wakeboarders ended the day on the podium.

Colden Thompson, who is on the WSWA Senior Wakeboard Team and Wake Canada Development Team, landed a heelside 540 and toeside backside 360, which helped him capture third place in the highly competitive Open Division.

Brothers Ryder and Dagen Duczek, both members of the WSWA Development Wakeboard Team, competed in the GROM (U14) division. Dagen took home first place, while Ryder finished a close second. Ryder also captured first place in the surf competition, with Dagen finishing third.

The Duczek boys, known as the “Little Shredders” are sponsored by Just Liquid Sports, Hyperlite and Boston Pizza Cranbrook/Golden.

All three riders will be back in the water this weekend as they participate in the WSW
