Jennifer De Pippo last week won two bronze medals and a silver medal at a swim meet in Victoria.

She captured bronze in  the 50-metre freestyle and silver in 100-m freestyle one day and the next day, the Cranbrook-based Canadian Paralypmic Swim Team member won another bronze medal in the 100-m breaststroke.

“While speaking to Jennifer earlier this evening she mentioned that there are not very many disabled who take up competitive swimming. Jennifer said me it takes a lot of drive and determination to compete,” said friend and supporter Louie Cupello.
