Kimberley resident up for National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year

Kimberley’s Josh Dueck is one of 10 people in the running for National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year.

The people who are nominated for the award are “individuals who made our year in adventure with their remarkable achievements in exploration, conservation, humanitarianism, and adventure sports. Each embodies a unique spirit of adventure,” explains National Geographic.

The award will be decided from an online voting process from November 1 until January 16, 2013.

People can vote every day until Jan. 16 and the winner will be announced in February 2013.
