Pickleball sampler at Baker courts next week

Have you been thinking about preserving or expanding the life of your physical fitness?

Why not give Pickleball a try?

Pickleball is played with two to four players using Pickleball paddles (that look like jumbo ping pong paddles) and a ball similar to, but slightly smaller than a Wiffle ball.

Traditionally it is played on a badminton-sized court with a lower net that allows the game to be accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

It is easy to learn and play whether you’re five, 85 or somewhere in between!

In Cranbrook there are two courts set-up for Pickleball at the Mount Baker tennis courts.

If you are interested in learning about or trying Pickleball come to the Mount Baker courts on Wednesday, August 19 from 9 -11 a.m. or Thursday, August 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. All ages welcome!

Equipment will be available for you to use and experienced players will be there to explain the game, and it is free.
