Sam Steele Days 2013 in images
The 49th annual Sam Steele Days celebration in Cranbrook was another great community party.
The city was alive with events throughout Sam Steele Days, including sports tourneys, bartender races and a mustache growing competition hosted by Dewey’s Pub, the immensely popular Weiner Dog Races, annual Strong Man Competition, A Taste of Cranbrook in Rotary Park, along with a huge variety of entertainment, fun, games and much more.
On Sunday, June 16, several hundred children with parents and family in tow, returned to Rotary Park for Fair in the Park.
The Wax On part of the festivities in which three local men agreed to have their lower leg hair ripped out in order to raise funds for the Kootenay Child Development Centre, will follow tomorrow because those images are too good to mix in with others!

Kudos to organizers and volunteers for helping make the June 14-16 weekend a great one in Cranbrook.
