Community Futures East Kootenay selects new GM
Community Futures East Kootenay (CFEK) is excited to announce the appointment of Sean Campbell as our new General Manager effective May 28.
Sean brings a broad and impressive range of professional skills and experience to this position. His interest and awareness of local and regional issues will ensure a proactive and creative approach to working with partners, stakeholders and a variety of key organizations on economic development and business related initiatives.
We are confident his experience in business lending, management consulting, operations management, and strategic planning will prove invaluable.
Sean made Cranbrook his home over 10 years ago and has demonstrated a determined commitment to economic and social prosperity in the area ever since. Following a number of years as Director on the Cranbrook & District Chamber of Commerce Board, Sean was elected to serve two years as President in 2010 and 2011.
Sean has also served on the City of Cranbrook Economic Development Committee (2011-2012) and as a Sam Steele Society Director (2008-2011).
CFEK’s role in regional economic development puts Sean right where he wants to be: in the thick of fostering opportunities and positively influencing the regional economic environment.
Please join us in welcoming him to our dynamic team.
