Open house Feb. 25 for community centre plans
The District of Invermere is hosting an open house this afternoon (Feb. 25) from 3-6 p.m. at the Lake Windermere Memorial Community Hall to seek input from the public on plans for a new community centre.
Calling it an afternoon of “exploration, understanding and input,” the district is hoping to elicit information from Invermere residents on what the new facility should look like and how it should be used.
The district was on-hand at Sobey’s yesterday (Feb. 24) and will be at AG Valley Foods tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 26, seeking input.
