Rockies Film Series & Festival turns 20
The 20th season of the the Rockies Film Series & Festival begins October 6 at Key City Theatre at 7 p.m.
It is going to be a great year for a variety of reasons! One important reason is we are returning the film series and the festival to the Key City Theatre for the 2016-2017 year. It is also the 25th anniversary for the Key City Theatre so there is no better time to collaborate on this event!
Our first film of the season on Oct. 6, Captain Fantastic, is sponsored by East Kootenay Community Credit Union.
Captain Fantastic, starring Viggo Mortenson, is a story about a father raising his six children in what many would consider an alternative lifestyle. When tragedy strikes, Viggo’s character is forced to bring the children to civilization which forces him to challenge his own beliefs.
