One injured in fuel truck crash
Highway 43 between Elkford and Line Creek remains controlled to single lane alternating traffic this afternoon as emergency crews continue to clean up after a semi-tanker truck crash at about 11 a.m., April 7.
Elk Valley RCMP reported more than 15,000 litres of diesel fuel spilled following the crash. The driver was transported to Elk Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This clean-up work is expected to go until approximately 8 p.m., reported Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting LP.
