A new four way stop for the intersection of 11th Avenue South and 1st Street South in Cranbrook is scheduled to be in place by Friday.

Pedestrians and drivers are strongly encouraged to be aware of the upcoming change. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to be more cautious when approaching the intersection. New signage about the change to a four way stop will be in place.

The City of Cranbrook continues to move forward improving the overall community vibrancy across the city. Improving accessibility and walkability for pedestrians through the downtown core, while also improving public safety is an important objective.
