There will be possible delays on Highway 3/95 in Cranbrook, on the west side of town, starting Oct. 10 when Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting begins a culvert replacement near the Heritage Estate Motel.

Work will begin Tuesday (Oct. 10), beginning with the removal of old asphalt.

During construction, which is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 30, the highway will be single lane traffic and minor delays will occur. Please keep an eye out for traffic control personnel.

Mainroad is the prime contractor working with sub-contractor Mackay Contracting.

Last spring there was minor flooding in the area where the culvert is being replaced (pictured above).
