Pre-winter info meetings on highways
Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting is hosting three upcoming public meetings covering the roles and expectations of the provincial East Kootenay Highway Maintenance Contract as well as winter storm preparation and response.
“We will be pleased to answer questions and share Shift into Winter driving tips,” a Mainroad stakeholder email noted.
The meetings are:
Friday, Nov. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Fernie’s Park Place Lodge.
Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.
Wednesday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Cranbrook’s Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort.
