The City of Fernie is asking for your assistance.

Over the last few weeks, there have been multiple instances in the city of portable potties being vandalized and tipped over.

“When this happens, it is expensive to remediate and threatens the ability for the city to keep providing such services. These potties are available to allow the public to enjoy our recreational areas that do not have permanent washrooms,” the city asked on its Facebook page this morning (July 24).

“We ask that if you witness vandalism or mischief, report it. This helps us keep our community safe, healthy and beautiful.”
