During the fall and winter driving seasons it is important to be aware of highway conditions before you set out on the road.

DriveBC has become an invaluable resource for safety and planning, adding more cameras every year.

To help increase public exposure to this vital information, e-KNOW recently launched an ‘East Kootenay special’ of DriveBC camera feeds.

“We monitor the DriveBC cameras and share need-to-know information when we can on our social media accounts. However, considering the 24-hour importance of the information provided by those highway cameras, we have added a feed to our home page showing all the highway cameras in the East Kootenay and relative ones nearby, such as Kootenay Pass,” explained e-KNOW publisher Carrie Schafer.

The images appear in the upper right corner of e-KNOW’s home page and allow one to quickly view all regional cameras.
