It is with deep sadness that the family of Eleanor Hayward announces her passing on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 86 years of age in Kimberley, BC.

Eleanor was born on March 4, 1932 in Kimberley. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and spending time with her family and friends, and loved flowers.

Eleanor is survived by her son Terry (Vicki) Hayward of Medicine Hat, AB, her grandson Mark (Michelle) Hayward of Zealandia, SK, her granddaughter Kelly Hayward (Keith Mayo) of Edmonton, AB, her great-grandchildren Luuca and Easton Mayo of Edmonton, AB, her brother Robert (Lee) Armstrong of Aldergrove, BC and nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Victor Oswald Hayward, her parents Howard and Kathleen Armstrong, brothers Ray (Hazel) Armstrong, Jack (Ina) Armstrong and Doug (Annie) Armstrong.

Eleanor will be interred in Westlawn Cemetery on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 am. A memorial tea will follow at McPherson Funeral Home in Cranbrook from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
