JCI Kootenay dropping annual fun run
After an extensive review of its annual commitments and anticipated 2019 projects, the non-profit organization JCI Kootenay has made the difficult decision not to hold the JCI Kootenay Fun Run in 2019.
Formerly the Spring Honda Fun Run, JCI Kootenay held the event in 2018, raising funds for the ALS Society of BC. The event consisted of a five kilometre, 10K run and a five K walk.
“It was a difficult decision to eliminate the fun run from our projects for 2019 due to the time commitment and our volunteer capacity,” said Coco Seitz, 2019 JCI Kootenay President.
