Luigi “Louis” GENTILE

JANUARY 1, 1948 ~ JUNE 4, 2019 (AGE 71)

Supported by his family and caregivers, Luigi Antonio Gentile, born January 1, 1948 in Castelsilano, Italy, passed away at the Elk Valley Hospital on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Louis will be dearly missed by his loving wife Louise and their children: Joey Gentile, J.P. Gentile (Shauna Grant), and Rose Gentile (Ben Salter); his grandchildren: Dante and Dario Gentile, MiKayla and Emmerson Gentile, and Jensen and Harrison Salter; siblings Maria (Benny) Leo, John Gentile (Brenda Yung), and Frank Gentile (Shirley Aguinaldo) as well as nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giuseppi and Rosalia Gentile.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Louis’ memory to the Jack Ady Cancer Center, Lethbridge, or to Friends for Friends, Fernie.
