ROBERT LEIGHTON DICKSON
AUGUST 5, 1935 – MARCH 13, 2020
It is with much sadness that the family of Robert Leighton Dickson (Leighton) announces his passing on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the F.W. Green Home in Cranbrook, B.C. at 84 years of age. Before retirement, Leighton led a colorful life as a logger and a heavy equipment operator. He loved to camp and fish and spent many days travelling in his Airstream with his beloved wife Lynda.
Leighton was born on August 5, 1935 as the third child to James and Willhelmina Dickson. He was predeceased by both parents, brothers, Tom and George and sister Laura (Edwards). Leighton leaves behind his wife, Lynda and children Nikki McCoy (Darren), Carol Keyes (Richard), Derek Shore (Cami), Debbie Ratcliffe (Rod) Melody Dickson, and Tammy Dickson, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, too numerous to mention, but all loved.
We would like to thank Dr. McIvor and the wonderful staff at the Dr. F.W. Green Memorial Home for their wonderful care of Leighton.
The family will have a celebration of life at a date to be announced.
