“I had to make sure it was real.”

When Teressa-Lynne Zelych realized she had won $125,000 playing a $10 Treasure Tree, BCLC Scratch & Win ticket, she thought she was on the receiving end of a practical joke.

“I kept looking at [the ticket], I had to make sure it was real,” said the Cranbrook resident, who purchased her winning ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore.

On how she will celebrate, Zelych said she plans to renovate her home and gift some money to her children.
