Truck pulling event to close part of 17th Ave. N Saturday
The City of Cranbrook reports that 17th Avenue N will be closed adjacent to Western Financial Place on Saturday, October 1, to facilitate a truck pulling test.
Fitness Inc. is hosting the event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a portion of 17th Avenue N will be closed between 2nd Street N and Baker Street.
The truck pulling event will include both logging and cement trucks.
BC Transit will be detouring around 17th Avenue N onto 2nd Street N and 14th Avenue S for the duration of the event.
